What do you think when you see a black emo and why?
Q. Honestly, I don't see a lot of them and when my friends and i see one they see them posers and trying to be "white". So I'm just curious about what you think. I'm black by the way.

A. It means Emotional (but i believe you are refering to emo people) They are people who act with heightened emotions - usually being those of depression and anger. They carry canvas sling bags with buttons on them, cut themselves, wear black makeup and clothes (next level ontop of goth)

A. Emo references other emotions, and tends to be characterized as self-pitying. Likely because the 'emo' music scene features artists putting their emotions on stage, but they aren't necessarily sad emotions. The insult is to reference 'emo' as self-involved misery.

A. Ok. if you want to ovoid being called a poser, then you have to SLOWLY become emo. if you become emo over one summer, people WILL call you a poser. You also have to have the aditude. So you need to be caring, sensitive, and don't be so in other peoples face! And yes, it can be expensive to be emo. if you are looking for cheep cloths, then go to hot topic online, and look at there stuff that is on sale. (it ill be half off)

A. My gf is "a black emo girl".. I hate to label her like that but I will for this question!! I don't see why race must come in to it. Either you click with a person or you don't and it has nothing to do with your ethnicity, I would love to think that in the 21st century this isn't even an issue!! I hope you find someone, but don't restrict yourself to race, just talk to as many people as you can and see who you have a connection with. A. Get a fringe to cover you're face to make it appear smaller and just normal layered/choppy hair. It's not really the haircut that makes it 'emo', it's what you do to it. Ask for lots of layors, keep it at least sholder length. If you're not sure as to how to fix up you're hair, ask them to make it 'scene' or 'emo', maybe they'll help you make that look and just pay attention to what they're doing I guess. Best is to just google and take the picture to them.

A. People with artistic abilities are obviously more capable of expressing how they feel rather than someone who isn't artistic. Art itself reveals psychological ideas, and though it starts subconsciously, you can become more aware of it and control it. Symbolism is the key. "Art is a lie that helps us realize the truth." Artists are often enlightened because they end up thinking about all the little things in life and have some appreciation for it. It's really hard to explain, but art is an amazing thing.
