Q. I really have no idea what a emo is. I know that emo stands for emotional. What is there fashion sense? I've heard people who try to be emo are posers or what ever they call them. And people talk about there attitude. I also have don't get the hair. People say they cut their self of something???

A. ok..so not all emos cut themselves..but yes you're right, they're very emotional. they are sometimes depressed at unusual times. i have a friend that's emo and it's pretty sad that she hates her life most of the time. she almost commited suicide! ): anyways, they often wear black, i guess it's a color that shows the symbol "darkness"? but no one knows really what emo defines unless you look in a dictionary of some sort. i guess all emo people are all different. and my friend, she dyed her hair black and wears black all the time.
